I have been teaching piano for 16 years and in order to create highest quality methods and programs I have been continuously improving my teaching strategies. The two key influential instructors who shaped my technical performance skills were Simin Koushadpur a senior fellow in Tehran symphony orchestra and legendary Ardeshir Rouhani. My academic background in Psychology specializing in music therapy and my passion for teaching have helped me to develop a unique approach and that is creation of customized programs for students. I remember when I first started at age of 7 my family and teachers’ support and continuous motivation were the reasons why I continued and progressed quickly. Through this personal experience, I learned that motivation was the key to success in learning any new subjects. I pay a great deal of attention to my students feelings and emotions and work closely to develop a learning strategy that best suits their style.
I have two groups of RCM and non RCM students ; my most senior students are now taking grade 10 of RCM. Teaching RCM requires specific technical and behavioral skills and I pay special considerations to ensure that students stay motivated and engaged through the learning process.
